I need a super-duper high-quality version of this video. Just so I can see every tiny detail with crystal clarity. :D (I'll admit, I didn't like the dreads much at first--now they're growing on me. Pun not intended.) Now, off to research graphic stuff and write!

Gerard Butler was by no means the best Phantom ever (though he was the best looking, hands down), but there's no question of his merit when this song is involved. He nailed it perfectly. Ahhhhh. I really want a candle-lit lair now.

P.S.--If certain parties are wondering, yes, I have listened to Nightwish's cover of "The Phantom of the Opera". And no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't bring myself to like it.

I just got "The Classical Conspiracy" CD a couple weeks ago. Before that, my little sister liked to fall asleep listening to Enya every night. Now, when either Mom or I tuck her in, she wants me to start the Spiderman Medley playing. And she likes to play it while she's awake, too. I never thought I could possibly have too much Epica, but what with my sister playing this one track over and over 24/7, I'm starting to wonder if I was wrong. LOL.



Oh, well. At least I'm helping her develop good taste, right? :D

I don't know how they do it, but Stream of Passion seems to have a knack to encapsulate how my imagination perfectly in their songs. Granted, pretty much every band I enjoy listening to can do that, but Stream of Passion seems to do it the most accurately. This song puts me in mind of a story I began mulling over in 2006 (same time I first got into Star Trek TOS), but dropped, because the direction it was going was scaring me.

But then, this song, along with a few from Evanescence, brought everything back in a rush. Now I've promised my muse I'll work on the story eventually. (Emphasis on eventually.) Speaking of writing . . . my notebook's calling me.

But, first, note to self: remember to take off fake engagement ring before church evening service. It serves its purpose warding old men off at work, but it's totally different ballgame in the sanctuary. LOL.

Gah, yet another concert DVD to add to my long list of things to order online.

And not just to my own Mom, but to all mothers out there. May you be appreciated every day of every year, not just today.
